„Visi sīki žagariņi sidrabiņu vizināja” is a winter solice festival , organized in Latvian Ethnographic Open-air museum, which contains pleasant and useful activities- buying Christmas gifts with a walk in a pine tree forest, decorated with lights, folk shows and traditions, riding in a horse slay and drinking hot tea by bonfire.
To avoid Christmas time becoming into a shopping fever museum offers to make gifts with your own hands- workshops where you can make candles, soaps, decorative elements, ginger, Christmas cards.
Starting from 12 o`clock craft worker shops and Latvian food shops will be working, folk bands will introduce visitors with songs, dances and old games, log will be pulled around households to collect all the bad thoughts from the last year.
When dawn will fall down the museum, decorative lights will be turn on and you will be able to see a winter fairytale.
To stay warm, you free tee, made on an open fire, will be served.
Visitors will be able to make Christmas gifts with their own hands in gift workshops – decorate gingerbread, make candles, boil soap, make interior decors and postcards.
If there will be enough snow, snow mazes and fortresses will be build.
