Those who like winter sports and active recreation have a possibility to sport and relax at the Snow Hill "Lemberga Hūte" (Lembergs Trilby).

The Snow Hill "Lemberga Hūte", which is located in the territory of Ventspils city at 141, Saules Street, is one of the main objects of the "Amusement Park" (www.piedzivojumuparks.lv). This Hill is unique, because it is banked artificially by using construction waste and useless street covering.

Every summer since 2005, when the Ski Hill was first open to visitors, works are being done to make it higher and this season height of the Hill has reached already 47 m. Looking from the top of the Hill over pine treetops a wonderful view opens up to the sea and the city.

At the Snow Hill "Lemberga Hūte" can use:

a skiing track;
a snowboard track with trampolines, slides and rails;
winter tubing track;
distance skiing route.
To bring ski runners and snow riders to the tracks, there are three different elevators installed on the Hill – a multilift (an elevator with hooks), anchor and elevator type lifts. To provide snow cover of the required thickness and prolong the season, 4 snow generators are operated on the Snow Hill "Lemberga Hūte". The Hill and the surrounding territory are lightened. The visitors can leave their vehicles in the car park at the Hill, which can accommodate up to 60 cars.

Service building with an inventory rent facility, comfortable cloakrooms and a cosy cafeteria "Stenders Pica" is waiting for the visitors of the Amusement Park.
