Being here in Konu mill majority of people in Latvia will remember old, white, kind-hearted cat which was main character in a story called Kaķīša Dzirnavas written by Latvian writer Karlis Skalbe.

Sad story with the happy ending feel here next to you when you enter,coz nothing much have changed, mill still malts grain and recycle wool.

Mill were built some 180 years ago and were the first mechanical enterprise in the countryside of Latvia
