We are going to coming of spring in these days of March. On the 21th of March the astronomical spring will begin, when day and night will be the same length. Spring solstice is also the Latvian Great day, when we are ready for swinging, "healing the birds”, coloring the eggs.   Great Day is celebrated in Latvian counties. In Turaida Spring solstice will be on the 19th of March. We will be able to expect spring with songs, games and swinging! We will be joined by children's folk group from Sigulda “Senlejina”.
